Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook)
The Open University of Cyprus, following an agreement with Microsoft, provides access to all of the Open University of Cyprus members, using their university account, so they can use Office365 services. Office365 is a dynamic program that contains a number of services and applications that can be used by the University Community.
The services and applications currently offered in Office365 are as follows:
- Webmail.
- Web versions (online) of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Forms as well as additional tools.
In addition, members of the Open University of Cyprus have the possibility to install the version of the complete Office 365 package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and other utilities) on a certain number of personal computers. All of the above services are not provided by the Open University of Cyprus exclusively and can therefore be changed by the provider (Microsoft) without prior information or warning.
Conditions
To access Office365 services, you must have an active Open University of Cyprus account (
• Students and PhD candidates.
• Faculty Members and SEP.
• Administrative Staff.
Duration of Use
Microsoft Office 365 services can be leveraged:
• for as long as your University account is active and
• for as long as Microsoft provides the services.
There is no guaranteed period during which the services will be provided and access may be interrupted at any time.Regarding the provision of the Microsoft Office365 Desktop edition through Office365, it is provided only to members who have an active University account. When your account is deactivated (e.g. upon graduation, retirement, transfer, termination) in accordance with the Accounts policy, all access to Office365 services will be terminated. After deletion, restoring any file of the account, will not be possible.
