Professor Petros Pashiardis, Rector of the Open University of Cyprus (OUC), met with Ms. María Montserrat Marín López, the Executive Director of the European Agency of Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) in Cyprus, on June 6, 2024, at the OUC. During the meeting, Prof. Pashiardis and Ms. López engaged in fruitful discussions focusing on potential collaboration between the two institutions. They explored a variety of ideas for future cooperation aimed at enhancing educational and professional development opportunities.
Professor Pashiardis presented OUC's distance teaching methodology and highlighted the offerings of online professional development courses under the OUC Centre for Professional and Continuous Education. The exchange of knowledge and experience between OUC and CEPOL promises to open new avenues for mutual growth and advancement.
The meeting was attended by Floris S. Nikandrou, Inspector and Head of the International Cooperation Office (CEPOL National Unit), along with other CEPOL colleagues.
