The Greek Unit of the International Chair in Bioethics (ICB), founded at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specifically at the Applied Philosophy Research Lab, aims to promote the dialogue in regards to Bioethics and to contextualize scientific and social actions related to bioethical issues in close cooperation with other bodies and institutions.
The celebration of this year's World Bioethics Day is co-organized as a Hybrid Internatonal Conference entitled ‘Protecting Future Generations’ , to be held on the 18th of October 2023, by the Greek Unit, International Chair in Bioethics (WMA Cooperation Center) and the NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Lab, the National Commission for Bioethics & Technoethics, the Open University of Cyprus, the European Laboratory of Bioethics, Technoethics and Law and the Research Center of Biopolitics.
The congress, which will be held at the premises of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, will be attended by influential scientists from various disciplines, from Greece, Cyprus and abroad, who will analyze from their particular perspective these bioethical issues.
