The Chairholder
Alexandros Tsadiras is an Associate Professor of Administrative Law of the European Union at the Open University of Cyprus. He has conducted research at the Universities of Oxford (England), Université Robert Schuman (France) and Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). He was a research associate at the Center for International and European Economic Law in Thessaloniki and a national expert for the European Commission in Greece and Cyprus. He holds a PhD in Administrative Law from the University of Oxford, a Master's Degree in Union Law from the University of Edinburgh and a Law Degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is a member of the international scientific associations Research Network on EU Administrative Law, European Law Institute, International Ombudsman Institute and European Criminal Law Academic Network. His research interests include the concept of good administration, the European Ombudsman, extrajudicial protection at Union level and the improvement of the European Union's administrative services.
